Unlike most other parts of your home the roof is one of the most important things to keep up with. Rain and snow will continue to fall no matter what. A leaking roof can cause major damage that might not be visible to the naked eye.

Wind driven rain, snow, ice can damage your roof creating ice-dams. Ice-Dams are created when the heat coming through the roof melts the snow and runs down to the overhang where it refreezes. This ice will grow creating a “dam” As snow continues to melt the water hasn’t anywhere to go and begins to pool up allowing water to back-up under your shingles and leaking into your home.

We use GRACE® Ice&Watershield on all of our roofing projects. This membrane under the edges of your roof will prevent any water that may back up under the shingles from penetrating into your home destroying the wallboard, insulation, and eventually the framing!
